The Alesis Q25 is a 25-note, velocity-sensitive, MIDI keyboard controller that includes USB and traditional MIDI ports, allowing you to connect to almost any MIDI equipment, including software and sound modules. Packing Pitch and Modulation wheels, backlit Octave Up and Down buttons, and a Volume/Data Entry slider, you can quickly and easily add range, expression and dynamics to your performances.
All you need do is connect the Q25 to your computer with the USB cable (included) and you are instantly ready to begin creating music. A single USB cable provides power and data connection, without even needing to install drivers to make the Q25 work. The Q25 is also class-compliant, allowing you to skip the programming and start playing instantly.
A copy of Ableton Live Lite, Alesis Edition software, is included with the Q25, enabling you to perform, record, and sequence music right out of the box. The Q25 is also the optimal choice for controlling hardware MIDI devices because of its compact size and portability, making it perfect for fitting into existing rigs and then hitting the road. Just place the Q25 a tier above an existing workstation keyboard and utilize its streamlined layout to maximize your sound and performance options. In addition, you can send Program Changes from the Q25's keys to change programs, patches and more.
